The longer you go without scoring, the more dangerous it gets, as the speed increases and the hits from the enemy team get stronger. Players need to make five points in order to win. One lap correlates to one point, two laps gives three points, and three laps awards in five points. Lapping the rink increases the score you get from throwing the ball into the goal ring. Skaters do laps, and throw a ball in a goal ring to score points. Roller Champions is a team-based, co-op sport game set in a roller rink. The Roller Champions rulebook of success revealed Ubisoft also plans on releasing the game for Stadia, though that date isn’t set. Roller Champions is set to release on PC. Roller Champions then received a final delay which pushed the release date back to where it is now. The original release date was set for 2020, then delayed to March 22 of this year. The game was revealed at E3 2019, and subsequently delayed as the developer struggled to finish the game initially. May 25 is when you’re able to get your hands on Ubisoft’s Rocket League competitor.

Look for Roller Champions to come to PC in early 2021 as a free-to-play game. The game will feature stadiums from around the world, as well as numerous customization options. It's possible to earn more points by completing more laps before attempting a goal, but if the opposing team knocks you over and steals the ball, your team gets nothing. However, it does not appear that the full version of the game is going to roll out this year. Roller Champions was first unveiled way back at E3 2019 and the publisher had every intention of bringing it out in 2020. It's been a while since Ubisoft first revealed its take on roller derbies.
